I don't photograph perfection.

I photograph the way a dog looks at the person they trust most.
The quiet focus of a working dog before the first command.
The confidence that slowly appears when someone forgets there's a camera in front of them.

Those are the photographs that matter to me.

Because long after the day is over, it's rarely the perfect pose you'll remember.

It's the feeling of having been there.
